As oral and maxillofacial surgeons, Dr. David C. Hoffman, D.D.S., F.A.C.S., Lydia J. Lam, D.D.S., and Emad Abdou, D.D.S. manage a wide variety of problems relating to the mouth, teeth, and facial regions. Dr. Hoffman, Dr. Lam, and Dr. Abdou practice a wide range of oral and maxillofacial surgery procedures, including dental implants, bone grafting, wisdom teeth extractions, oral pathology, orthognathic surgery, facial trauma surgery, cosmetic filler injections, cleft lip and palate surgery, and treatment of facial pediatric congenital deformities.

Surgical Staff

The surgical staff at Staten Island Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery is comprised of certified oral and maxillofacial surgical assistants that aid in the administration of I.V. sedation, assist during surgery, and monitor patients during and after procedures. Our surgical staff also includes a registered nurse to assist in surgical procedures and available board certified anesthesiologists to administer general anesthesia within our state-of-the-art facility. All staff members are well-versed in healthcare and insurance policies and are CPR certified.
